The Presidential Climate Commission (PCC) is a multi-stakeholder body established by the President of the Republic of South Africa. The PCC advises on the country's climate change response and supports a just transition to a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy and society. The PCC produces recommendations to government based on research and evidence and facilitates dialogue between social partners. Its ultimate aim is to define the type of economy and society South Africa seeks to achieve and outline the pathways to reach that vision.
