Project Manager

SOLINK is looking for a Project Manager to manage a portfolio of construction projects in the capacity of Principal Agent/Owner's Engineer across all sectors of the solar PV and battery energy storage market. Based in Johannesburg, with frequent travel to project sites across South Africa. Responsibilities include taking full ownership of assigned projects from contractor appointment through construction, commissioning and close-out; leading solar PV and BESS projects; acting as Principal Agent and trusted advisor to the Client; contract management and administration across JBCC and EPC contracts; driving project programme performance; maintaining oversight of project budgets; technical leadership and engineering oversight; site inspections and quality assurance; coordinating commissioning and project close-out. Requirements: minimum three years of development/construction Project Management/Principal Agent experience; excellent communication skills; experience administering construction contracts; valid driver's licence and willingness to travel. Salary: R40,000 – R50,000 CTC per month (negotiable).
