Renewable Energy Development Engineer

A technically and commercially focused renewable energy role responsible for wind energy analysis and project development, BESS sizing and optimisation, energy/revenue modelling, and providing technical input into project approvals, financing and offtake strategies from early development through to construction. Requirements: B.Eng or BSc(Eng) qualification, 3 to 5 years experience in wind energy assessment, demonstrable renewable energy development experience, BESS modelling and dispatch optimisation experience highly preferred, understanding of South Africa's electricity market and relevant pricing and wheeling mechanisms, excellent analytical and communication skills, strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
